Why VECLAIRE Exists
VECLAIRE was developed around a simple question: how can collectors make better grading decisions before sending their cards away? Traditional visual checking can vary depending on lighting, viewing angle, experience, and measurement method. VECLAIRE is developing a standardized inspection process that combines controlled imaging, structured inspection, technology, and evidence — with the goal of increasing clarity before submission.
Trading Cards as Precision Printed Products
Trading cards are collectible assets, but they are also precision printed products. Centering, edges, surface, and finishing are all outcomes of a production process — which means they can be examined with the same rigor applied to any printed good.
Printing Expertise Since 2007
VECLAIRE is supported by NTM Printing, a printing business with experience dating back to 2007. Years of working with print production, color reproduction, registration, cutting, finishing, substrates, and visual quality control provide a relevant technical foundation for VECLAIRE's inspection process. This background does not make VECLAIRE a substitute for professional grading — it contributes additional relevant capabilities, equipment familiarity, and understanding of printed-product characteristics that support our inspection.
